an elderly blind man lies in a hospital bed, the view out his window is bleak and dreary, crumbling old buildings next to a park being torn up by a bulldozer, the sun is nowehere to be found, a little drizzle falls. The blind man asks his visiting friend to describe the view out his window, and he is told of the sun shining bright and clear on the flowers freshly blooming in the park. The old man smiles and peacefully falls back asleep.
